The mountain town of Westwood’s celebration of its first 100 years got into full-swing this last week, with more activities planned in the town between now and August.
There was a street dance held Friday night and on Saturday thousands of past and present residents came home to celebrate with a parade through the streets of the town.
For many it was a homecoming a long-time in the making. As Janice Pelzer, who moved to Napa from Westwood in 1963 told us, “We had been meaning to revisit Westwood for many years, the 100th birthday seemed like the perfect time. We’ve had so much fun!”
